About the Café:

Stone Soup's mission is to create a beloved and welcoming community space where people from all walks of life come together to share nourishment, connection, and learning for body, mind, and spirit.

A lot of people are confused about our model. They wonder "is Stone Soup a soup kitchen?" The simple answer is... not so simple! The reality is that we are neither a soup kitchen, nor a for-profit restaurant. We are a community restaurant operating in a manner that is more like mutual aid than charity. There are no prices posted on our menus; rather, we are a donation-based meal that is dependent upon our guest’s choice of payment.

In short, we are a non-profit, pay-what-you-can, community cafe!
