Stone Soup Café Announces Inaugural Harvest Supper Art Auction

Greenfield, MA – August 2024 – Stone Soup Café is thrilled to announce its first-ever Harvest Supper Art Auction, a celebration of local artists and a fundraiser for Stone Soup Café.
This exciting auction will feature 35 talented artists, including Avery Cassell, Belinda Zucker, Bobby Brown, Bruce A Dunbar, Cameron Schmitz, Cara Finch, Carlin Barton, Casey Williams, Cathy Wysocki, Christine Mirabal, Cleopatra Redbird, Frank Gregory, Geoffrey Bluh, Hannah Richards, Joan Green, Jorie Morgan, Jules Jones, Kate Marion Lapierre, Kathleen Jansyn, Lindy Whiton, Linn Bower, Lydia Kinney, Michelle Leitko, Rhea Banker, Rita Jaros, Ryan McGinn, Sally Prunier, Sarah Adam, Shanee Epstein, Trouble Mandeson, Wayne Hopkins, and Whitney Robbins.
A selection of artworks will be on display at the Greenfield Public Library beginning Friday, August 16th in the first-floor conference room. Artworks will also be hung at Rise Above Bakery beginning Monday, August 19th. All art will be viewable at the Harvest Supper event on August 24th on the Greenfield Town Common. Attendees at the Harvest Supper will have an opportunity to place their final bids between 4pm and 7pm.
By donating their artwork, participating artists are contributing to an amazing annual event that celebrates all things local – local farmers, local food, and local creativity.
“We are excited to showcase the incredible talent we have in this area,” said Jansyn Thaw, Director of Marketing and Fundraising at Stone Soup Café. “The money raised from this auction will directly benefit our weekly Pay-What-You-Can Community Meal, Free Store, and Culinary Institute, helping us provide ongoing nourishment and support to our community.”
The Harvest Supper is an annual celebration that brings together our community to celebrate the bounty of the county. Hosted by Stone Soup Café on the Greenfield Town Common, this event features a delicious array of locally sourced dishes, live music, and family-friendly activities.
