Everybody's Community Store

Every Saturday, we offer Pay-What-You-Can grocery items, local vegetables, fruit, dairy, eggs, personal care items, and home goods during our curbside meal pick-up from 12pm - 1:30pm.

This Pay-What-You-Can grocery program was created at the onset of the pandemic in 2020. Since then, it has grown steadily, and demand for this service remains high as families struggle with inflated food and gas prices.

Every Saturday, our Community Store provides between 80 and 110 households with access to groceries, produce, and personal care items at no charge. We use a network of local partners to source items to offer our guests at the store.

In addition to food, Stone Soup is a hub of information about community services and resources. We distribute wifi hotspots, host information tables, and coordinate pop-up events.

If you have items you'd like to donate to the Community Store, or you'd like to host a Food Drive, email communitystore@thestonesoupcafe.org. If you need pantry items delivered, check out our awesome friends over at the Center for Self-Reliance.
